Lisa Hill always considered Grandview a second home, since her grandparents moved here in 1944 as one of the farm and ranch families in the historic Oakland community. In 1999, along with her sister Carla (now deceased) and Nita Redmon, she purchased the historic Farmers' & Merchants bank building downtown, which was built in 1904. They were the second owners, launching "Pop & Gran's Antiques and More." She and Nita also own a small farm in Hill County. Her career in retail began at age 16, and she eventually became the corporate curriculum director and training manager for Tom Thumb/Randalls/Safeway, a career she left in 1999 to be closer to her ailing father.

An active member of the Grandview Lions Club, she has served as past-president and now works as the marketing/program manager. She is also a certified Plusoptix vision screener, a grant writer, and serves as President of the Grandview Park & Event Board for the City of Grandview. One of her proudest achievements is co-founding the Antique Alley Texas festival, where she manages the administrative and marketing efforts. Though most of her immediate family has passed, she is blessed with a loving extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends who have become like family over the years.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, and creating wire art using stained glass, broken jewelry, and Czech beads. Her favorite Bible verse, which brings her comfort in tough times, is Philippians 4:7: "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." She also dreams of completing and publishing the book she has been working on for 15 years and is a big fan of *Blue Bloods*. She feels incredibly grateful for the life she’s been given.
